Symptoms

 A faulty Ethernet HBA was replaced but it is still was marked as faulted by the NAS ZS3 system.

Cause

The NAS has FMA cached and 'retire store' entries for the PCI card and this was not automatically cleared.

 

Solution

Recommended action for the customer:

To remove the cached FMA entry and any 'retire store' entry for the replaced PCIe card, you will need to engage Oracle Support, by opening a Service Request, so that Oracle Support Services can provide confirmation of this issue and then carry out the appropriate activities to resolve the issue.
