Symptoms

After an Appliance Firmware Release upgrade, clients connecting via SFTP fail to connect.

 

Errors of the following form are displayed:

 

Changes

The customer applied an Appliance Firmware upgrade to a 2011.x release

 

Cause

Tighter security in the later versions prevents the old method from working.

 

Solution

You now have to provide the port number and directory location you are mounting to.
