Symptoms

Sundiag.sh script throwing drivetool error after upgrading the Exadata Software to version 11.2.3.3.0.131014.1

dlerror = libstorelibir.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Failed to load library for SAS IT/IR2 Controller.
dlerror = libstorelibir-2.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Storelibtest version 4.29

Changes

 After upgrading Exadata Image to version 11.2.3.3.0.131014.1

Cause

This error message is reported when drivetool is executed from the sundiag script.

Drivetool is available from newer Exadata software image and hence reported after upgrading to 11.2.3.3.0.131014.1


 

Solution

This issue is being addressed in <bug 18157164> which is currently being worked by Development and the message can be ignored.
