Solution 1619257.1 : Exachk Hang / Displays message "Exachk could not determine Exadata software version from environment."

Symptoms

After running for hrs Exachk terminate with below errors:

Is root password same on all STORAGE SERVER[y/n][y]
Enter root password for STORAGE SERVER :-
Exachk could not determine Exadata software version from environment. Set RAT_EXADATA_VERSION environment variable to Exadata software version and re-run it.
eg export RAT_EXADATA_VERSION=11.2.2.4.0

Cause

Old version of Exachk.

RAT_EXADATA_VERSION environment variable was missing.
Exachk log shows this issue.

Environment variable RAT_EXADATA_VERSION should be auto-created by exachk.

In older versions, this is not always successful.

Solution

Upgrade to latest version of Exachk using
