CauseSP network has been configured as static. And if the ethernet cable for the NET MGT port is connected to the network after power on or reset SP, this problem can occur. This issue can be reproduced by the following steps:
- Connect the ethernet cable to the NET MGT port. - Configure the /SP/network to the static IP address and confirm the access OK from other system. - Pull out the ethernet cable from NET MGT port. - Power cycle the machine by removing the power cable or reset /SP . - Wait for booting up the ILOM. - Run ping to SP and confirm the access NG. - Re-connect the ethernet cable to NET MGT port. - Run ping to SP and confirm still the access NG.
