Symptoms

SL500 library not getting initialized successfully.

CAP Media Removal: ALLOWED
CAP Access State: CLOSED
CAP Door Sensors:
None
PTP Status: NOT INSTALLED

The above shows 'DOOR OPEN' all the time ,even though the library door is confirmed to be in close position.

Cause

Faulty Door Switch Cable.

Solution

Replaced the door switch cable: Part #419657001 and the library got initialized successfully.
