Symptoms

Server keeps alerting with this:
"Disk reported unexpected SCSI SENSE data to controller which may indicate a compatibility issue between the controller firmware version and disk model, sun-id=/SYS/DBP/HDD0"

Cause

The issue happen only on a Hard Disk which is set as Global HotSpare. In this current case 12 Disk installed and Disk 0 is configured as Global HotSpare:

MegaCli Command is:

MegaCli -ShowSummary -aAll

Solution

Update to Oracle Hardware Management Pack version 2.3.0 or above to resolve this issue.
