Symptoms
While collecting log snapshot through network got the following error log snapshot license enable command returned
ERROR: board type is too long length = 7 at license
Changes
SL8500 library with microcode 6.04
Cause
Downlevel microcode.
- Hardware activation feature is not enabled.
Solution
Upgrade firmware to current SL8500 firmware.
Need to enable hardware activation.
- Run "hwActivation serviceFeature enable"
- Run "log snapshot license enable"
- Run ''log snapShot all''
