Created from <SR 3-8027746401> Applies to:Oracle Key Manager - Version 2.2 to 2.5.2 [Release 2.0]x86 32 bit Other UNIX Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit) - OS Version: 7 KMA X2100 M2 and X2200 M2 KMA servers, 64 bit servers not able to Launch Redirection from ELOM. SymptomsCustomer is not able to launch redirection from ELOM on a KMA X2100 M2 nor X2200 M2 server from a 64 bit Laptop running Windows 7 Java 6_21 nor Java 6_45. Also not able to Launch the Redirection from a 64 bit PC running Java 7_45 through FireFox, IE nor Windows Chrome. Cause
SolutionI was able to launch the Remote Control - Redirection from a Windows XP operating in 32 bit emulation through FireFox, running Java 7_45 Search for javaws.exe (32 bit version of Jave) in the Windows Java directory or Search for javaws.exe on Windows 64 bit server. If the javaws.exe file can not be found, it can be downloaded from the Java website and installed on the Windows 7 machine. Log into ELOM from a browser and select Remote Control and Redirection. The Java RKVM should launch but will fail unless "Other" is selected from the menu and the path to javaws.exe is entered. The Launch - Redirection should then complete.
