Symptoms

In Exalogic 2.0.4.0.x Virtual Environment, Power Distribution Unit (PDU) is missing from Exalogic Control under Assets pane in Enterprise Manager OpsCenter (EMOC) 12c.

Looking at a detailed view of the components in Exalogic Control under Assets, noticed that there is 1 of the PDU is missing from EMOC.

Cause

In this particular enviorment, there were 2 profiles for the PDU ( jobs) but add assets was run against only one PDU ( job 49).

Two profiles can be seen for the PDU (jobs) in emoc_cli_jobs file ( run Exalogs to get emoc_cli_jobs file located in exalogs_UTC\ec1\misc )

However only 1 Add-Assets job is seen for PDU 001
