Symptoms

4GB Tape drives cannot connect to Switch with correct Fibre channel speed.

Changes

Customer has updated the Switches from 1GB to 4GB.

Cause

Drives have the wrong Loop ID.

L700 wrong Loop ID

Solution

On the Front panel change the Loop ID to 126.

L700 set Loop ID

After this, you will see the correct entry "AUTO"
