Symptoms

ILOM / Service Processor (SP) appears to work correctly.

When attempting to start /SYS it does not come up and does not appear to work properly.

 

Changes

In this particular case, the customer had moved the array from one location to a different area.

In the new area, the array was connected to a 120 volt power feed and would not function properly after that.

 

Cause

The specifications for this array specifically states that this particular array type must have 200-220 volt power connected to it.

Lower voltages are not mentioned anywhere in the specification for this array.

 

Solution

In order for the proper operation of this array this array type must be connected to 200-220 volt power.

Connect the array to the proper power of 200-220 volts.
