APM installation for Solaris SPARC fails with the following output:

Various Solaris components and patches must be installed before

installing Axiom Path Manager. Please install all the prerequisites

specified in the APM Installation Guide then try again.

Before installing APM, ensure STMS is activated by ensuring the following parameter is listed in /kernel/drv/scsi_vhci.conf

My Oracle Support (MOS) currently does not list Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 (Update 10) Patch Bundle for SPARC systems 144401-10

Solution

1. Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 (Update 10) Patch Bundle for SPARC systems 144401-10 is available for download here: https://updates.oracle.com/download/13058415.html

2. Apply the patch bundle and then perform the APM installation
