Before installing APM, ensure STMS is activated by ensuring the following parameter is listed in /kernel/drv/scsi_vhci.conf

# mpxio global enable/disable switch:
# setting mpxio-disable="no" will activate
# I/O multipathing; setting mpxio-disable="yes"
# disables this feature (do not remove this property).
# mpxio-disable="no";

Solaris 10 and 11

My Oracle Support (MOS) currently does not list Oracle Solaris 10 8/11 (Update 10) Patch Bundle for x86 systems 144402-10

 2.       Apply the patch bundle and then perform the APM installation
