Symptoms

Monthly snapshots are not taken by the appliance.

There are no problems seen taking hourly, daily and weekly snapshots. But monthly snapshots of any project or share set for the first day of the month at midnight are not taken

Cause

When setting the snapshot time, the BUI timezone and the appliance UTC clock calculation goes negative

UTC,1,1,-2700,12,.auto-%N <<< here - this is the monthly setting and it is -2700 (a negative value)

Solution

Change the required date and backup will work as expected - in this example, the customer used a day in the middle of the month.
