Symptoms

The speed of the newly installed fan is found to be different from that of the other fan already installled.

Changes

 Installation of new fan module.

Cause

  Installation of new fan module.

Solution

This is not an issue. There are  two different fans qualified for the Gateway switch, they are running at different fans speeds. This is fully supported, tested and qualified config. The two fans have slightly different performance and will run at different speeds.
