Created from <SR 3-7582413691> Applies to:Exalogic Elastic Cloud X3-2 Hardware - Version All Versions to All Versions [Release All Releases]Information in this document applies to any platform. SymptomsThe following warning is displayed in the ILOM (BUI or CLI) when trying to get any information from ILOM about disks. From the ILOM BUI, once the 'Storage' Tab is selected, it will display this warning: Health: Warning Not Available Disk #
CauseThese warnings are logged as there is no OHMP (Oracle Hardware Management Pack) installed on the Compute node. OHMP will not be installed by default on Exalogic hardware and hence these warning are thrown when clicking on the storage tab from ILOM BUI. SolutionOHMP is not installed on exalogic by default as the related storage information can be gathered via Exalogic sundiag script. The Sundiag scripts are now encompassed in Exachk tool . It is possible to install OHMP, but not needed as it may interfere with the underlying exalogic framework. OHMP installation information can be found from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/servermgmt/downloads/index.html References<NOTE:1364081.1> - Exalogic Cell node ToolsAttachments This solution has no attachment |
