CauseSwitch state is Brocade Fabric OS 6.2.0c requirement Later versions of Fabric OS has NPIV enabled by default , this requirement was only for FOS 6.2.0c or before.

SolutionAccess Gateway (AG) Per Brocade Access Gateway (AG) Administrator's Guide, the Administrator will be prompted to reboot the Switch whenever enabling or disabling AG and when disabling AG the switchDisable command must be run to disable the switch before the ag --modedisable command is issued.
Enable AG mode
ag --modeenable To disable ag --modeshow --modedisable To show mode Example ag --modeshow Access Gateway mode is NOT enabled
