Solution

T10000A/B - this error can occur on 1.48.105 (T10000A)  and 1.48.205 (T10000B) code versions.  One source of this error has been addressed in special build RF48.x05 code. A second cause for 2B30 errors is in RS48.x05 code. Note that the RS48.x05 code also contains the changes in RF48.x05 code. Please involve L2. See CR 7119976,7117426, and 7169124.

Upgrade Firmware in T10K-A/B tape drives to special build RF.48.x05 FW for 2B30 SNO.  Open a collab with Tape Product Expert to acquire this firmware.

This fix will be added in future release firmware. TBD

This issue is resolved in drive firmware.

Open up a SR to request firmware upgrade.
