Symptoms

Robot down in with tape in hand.

Logged into library to assess issue with LSM and pull logs for analysis, found the following.

3215 - (4X)
Robot initialization error - Data: 2013-07-01T12:37:18.917, 1.4.0.1.0,    root, default,    internal,       0, error, 1302, Failure from robot Code: 512 - Robot can not go operational, directorInitializeRequest: failed to re-initialize Z; DIRECTOR - Z Range NOT set!;
Robot initialization error - reinitialize - no operational robot to push with , robot=1,4,0,1,0
Robot initialization error - Data: 2013-07-01T15:40:49.016, 1.4.0.1.0,    root, default,    internal,       0, error, 1302, Failure from robot Code: 512 - Robot can not go operational, directorInitializeRequest: failed to re-initialize Z; DIRECTOR - Z Range NOT set!;

Cause

Device reboot successful. Reviewing logs regarding failure.

Solution

Robot is not functional, needs to be replaced.

Contact the Technical Service Center, open up a Service Request, reference this knowledge entry and provide a Log Snapshot from the library to verify issue.  The SR will be reviewed with a CSE dispatched as needed.
