Problem Description: Failed Support Bundles cannot be deleted from either BUI or CLI

Error message:

appliance:maintenance system bundles> destroy ak.eba0be10-5dff-638e-afb2-fbc3595dd093.tar.gz
error: bundle "ak.eba0be10-5dff-638e-afb2-fbc3595dd093.tar.gz" not found

Checking the CLI, there can be seen lots of support bundles that are not getting deleted.

Not even selecting them is not permitted, as they are not found:

Cause

There are too many support bundles stored on this system and no other action is permitted (creation of the bundle, deletion of the bundle or even selecting the bundle).

Solution

Recommended action for the customer:

You will need to engage Oracle Support, by opening a Service Request, so that Oracle Support Services can provide confirmation of this issue and then carry out the appropriate activities to resolve the issue.
