Symptoms

When running bdacheckcluster on Oracle Big Data Appliance the following INFO message is seen like: "Got disk controller enclosure ID <enclosure ID>":

INFO: Got disk controller enclosure ID : <enclosure ID>

For example in the case of a disk controller enclosure ID 23:

INFO: Got disk controller enclosure ID : 23

 

 

Cause

The INFO message regarding enclosure ID is raised by the disk controller.

 
 

Solution

There is no need to be concerned about the enclosure ID. This is not something that can be changed. The INFO message can be safely ignored.
