<date time> <hostname> px: [ID 548919 kern.info] ohci-0#0

Cause

These messages have been observed during normal operation of the server, for example when running Oracle VTS.

Solution

These messages can be safely ignored.

Please note that this document covers only the interrupts generated by USB (ehci / ohci driver).
If you encounter interrupts from other drivers than these two, please open a service request at Oracle for further investigation.

There are several bugs, which have been closed as duplicates of other bugs, which are closed themselves.
The main info is, that the messages can be ignored.

Currently, bug 17323385 is open.
I will review the status of the bug and also contact the bug owner
so that once there is an info about a solution, I will update this doc.
