ChangesInstallation of new DEM and 4 drive arrays. CauseIncorrect Module Identification Block sticker used to identify panel in SL3000.
SolutionCustomer had 8 drives in top drive array and none in the lower ones. They had affixed the 'Triangle DRV01' sticker denoting 'Back wall 8 drives' rather than 'Triangle DRV04' denoting 'Back wall 32 drives' required. Even though only 8 drives were installed, because there were 4 drives arrays and the possibility of 32 drives, the 32 drive sticker was appropriate not the 8 drive sticker. Please refer to the SL3000 Installation Guide Table 6.2 P/N E20909-08 for examples of Module Identification Blocks and definition of fields (internal only). Module Identification Block can be changed but library needs reconfiguration.
