Symptoms

In Pillar Axiom version 5.4, the Fibre Channel Ports are not reported for Fibre Channel V2 Bricks. 
The<FibreChannelPort> elements are missing for the RaidControllers beginning with Axiom version 5.4. 

Fibre Channel Bricks are affected.  SATA Bricks appear to have the required information.  It existed for both SATA and FC Bricks in Axiom version 5.3.

Cause

This issue was injected in Patch 05.04.01.   The defect below was filed with Engineering

Bug:16594665 - 2ND GEN FC BRICK PORT STATUS REPORTING NOT WORKING

Solution

 This defect has been fixed in R5.4.5.  Release notes and implementation details are in Pillar Axiom: Ax600 & Ax500 Patch 05.04.05 for SAN [ID 1568094.1]
