Changes

No changes per customer.

Cause

Possibly marginal / bad media, drive loading mechanism or drive bezel.

A damaged drive bezel can prevent the tape cartridge from loading or unloading properly.

A damaged tape can also cause problems with the load/unload process.

Solution

Run ITDT test against suspect drive to check the functionality of the drive. Make sure a load/unload test is performed.
