Symptoms

Console reporting IOS551I NO PATHS PHYSICALLY AVAILABLE

Cause

RTD went offline.

RTD dropped power.

RTD dropped communication to library interface.

RTD dropped communication to mainframe system.

Solution

Field Engineer is required to perform following:

Re-seat the drive in the Bay/Tray and verify availability of drive to library, as to the HSC system.

Check cable seating, plugs, controller connections.
