Symptoms

AEM (Access Expansion Module) CAP door opens suddenly and without any damping. It swings open and slams against a wall.

Cause

Some mechanical issue, may be door stops are not installed properly or the damping device in the lower right corner is defective.

Solution

If this problem is being experienced, open a Service Request with the TSC. Reference this Knowledge Entry, Provide a SL3000 Log Snapshot for review. The TSC technican will analyse and dispatch CSE with replacement part as needed.
