Symptoms

3323: "Robot Move Failed -...

StorageTek Library Console (SLC) may show robot In Warning (Yellow) or Offline (Red) status

Cause

Any of the following conditions could cause FSC 3323 to be seen:

  1.  Stuck tape in one of the library's slots or drive.
  2.  Stuck tape in the robot's hand.
  3.  Mechanical or/and Electronic failure in the robot.

Solution

Check the status of the robot through SLC, if robot is Offline reboot it.

Reference <Document 1013648.1>, if a reboot will be attempted

If the troubleshooting fails, check for any existent Automatic Service Request (ASR) and if one was created, an Oracle Engineer will contact you within SLA.

If no ASR are present, please proceed and create a new Service Request reporting the issue and indicating the troubleshooting performed.
