Cause

Did not find the append point within the 10ms window, after gap was received during a Read Transfer operation.

Solution

What needs to be checked is System/VSM/ library log, to see if the MVC or drive failed on more than one drive or more than one MVC.

In the first instance the MVC failed on more than one drive, then drain/eject the MVC. Otherwise, replace the drive.

If there was only one occurrence/event, monitor for further events, before taking any action.

This error code was seen on a 9840D drive.
