Symptoms

Tapes are physically damaged from load and produce write errors

Cause

0,0,12,8 IBM LTO4 FC Damaging tapes multiple tapes.
 
Drive has damaged tapes and is producing errors on write after use and needs to be replaced
 

Solution

 Drive to be replaced with part number 7057446 IBM LTO4 FC and tested by engineer.

Tapes to send off for recovery if needed to third party for LTO media recovery
