Symptoms

Communication issues between FSE laptop and CLI port of the Library´s Controller Card.

There is no access to the library.

Tried 3 standard serial cables, one from Oracle, one from Cisco and one from Netapp but still no response on the Hyperterminal connection.

Cause

After RLC replacements there was no communication with the library.

Solution

Ordered New Serial Cable:

Use Part Number # 4108289-01.

Alternative Part Number # 410828902 CABLE ASSY,20 FT,RDC,CCITT
