Symptoms

Blade can not be powered on and SP event logs show

SP detected fault at time Mon Mar 1 18:25:27 2010. Chassis cover removed

or in snapshot VBSC log

./ilom/@persist@vbsc@vbsc.log

Mar 15 12:07:07 WARNING: Intrusion in system chassis

Sun Fire T6320 G2 systems with SP part 511-1304-06 (or earlier)

Cause

FPGA  defect

Solution

This issue is only seen on T6320 G2 with SP part 511-1304-06 (and earlier). 

If blade can not be powered on and SP event logs show:

SP detected fault at time Mon Mar 1 18:25:27 2010. Chassis cover removed

Replace SP with part 511-1304-08 (and later).
