Symptoms

Customer's external network security software alerting that the array has network security issues and reports an issue similar to:

If authentication is not implemented, an attacker on the same network may feed the target machine bogus routes and hijack network connections.

Cause

Dynamic Routing is enabled.

Solution

The solution is to disable Dynamic Routing.

To disable dynamic routing via the CLI:

        CLI: > configuration services dynrouting

Entering: show will give the current state.

Entering: disable will disable dynamic routing.

To disable dynamic routing via the BUI:

This is done in the Configuration SERVICES page by clicking on the 'power button' icon on the right-hand side of the 'Dynamic Routing' line.

If Dynamic Routing is enabled, the 'Edit configuration service' icon on the left-hand side of the line will be green.  If this service is disabled that icon will be grey.
