Aborting auto-boot sequence.
Example,
SPARC Enterprise M3000 Server, using Domain console CauseThe Operator Panel (OPNL) keyswitch at the front of chassis has two positions -- 1.) Locked and 2.) Service. You may verify the panel keyswitch position on the XSCF command line with the 'showhardconf -M' command. Example, XSCF> showhardconf -M
Additionally there is an Autoboot setting in the XSCF domain mode settings and has two settings, on or off. When the keyswitch is in the Locked position but the Autoboot setting in the domain mode is set to off, domain auto-boot will be prevented and overrides the OBP auto-boot? setting. You may verify the domain mode settings on the XSCF command line using the 'showdomainmode -d <domain number>' command.
Example. XSCF> showdomainmode -d 0 SolutionMove the OPNL keyswitch to the Locked position. The keyswitch should be kept in the Locked position for normal operation. If the OPNL keyswitch is already in the Locked position, verify the domain mode settings via 'showdomainmode -d <domain number>'. If Autoboot is set to off, change the domain mode setting to on using the 'setdomainmode -y -d <domain number> -m autoboot=on' command.
Example.
XSCF> setdomainmode -y -d 0 -m autoboot=on Diagnostic Level :none -> - Secure Mode :on -> - Autoboot :off -> on CPU Mode :auto -> - The specified modes will be changed. Continue? [y|n]:y configured. Diagnostic Level :none Secure Mode :on (host watchdog: available Break-signal:non-receive) Autoboot :on (autoboot:on) CPU Mode :auto
