Symptoms

During the boot process, a BIOS message saying "warning I/O resource not allocated" (or similar)  can be seen.

Commonly seen after a mother board has been replaced

Cause

The message means the BIOS tried to allocate I/O resources in its own RAM space it has but failed to do so.

Solution

Our AKD software drivers manage the I/O resources - which is why is does not matter.

You can safely ignore this message.
