Symptoms

If you collect a supportdata from an array with the firmware 07.84.xx.xx and with Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM) 6.9.0_20 which is the required version for this firmware (refer to <Document 1526721.1> Minimum Sun Storage Common Array Manager (CAM) Release Supported with the Firmware (FW) 07.84.xx.xx), the storageArrayProfile.txt file does not list the installed licenses. Here is an example:

Cause

This is related to the unpublished <bug 16212728>.

Solution

The solution is to upgrade to CAM 6.10 which includes a fix. Please refer to the <Document 1296274.1> How to Download Common Array Manager (CAM) Software and Patches.

If you cannot upgrade to CAM 6.10, the workaround is to use either the Browser User Interface (BUI) or Command Line (CLI) to list the licenses.

BUI method:

Log into CAM.
Go to Storage Systems -> <arrayname> -> Administration -> Licensing

CLI method:

Execute the following command:

sscs list -a <arrayname> license

`sscs` is under:
Solaris: /opt/SUNWstkcam/bin/
Linux: /opt/sun/cam/bin/
Windows: C:\Program Files\Sun\Common Array Manager\bin
