And while booting up Solaris it was showing, "WARNING: ios0,peu0 Link Width x1 Link Speed GEN2", i.e.

This is link training error during post. It should be 8.
One PEU is enough to drive whole IO sub-system, however respecting POST, should replace MB.

Symptoms

At the first, cu said there is no output from the SP. After reinsert the SP card, the issue is fixed up.
but When the server do the Max-level-post. CU found there are some warning messages shown as below:

The customer not sure whether the messages are harmless. and want to know why the error appeared.
Now All the hardware are OK, I search in our KM for the warning messages, but no useful info found.

To know this event, and cause of this.

Cause

MB failure

Solution

1) Upgrade Firmware to latest.

2) Run max POST again, to see if the warning still persists.

3) If the same warning persists, then consider replacing MB.
