ChangesMicrocode Upgrade Above 7.0x. CauseReports of capacity validation not moving forward (grandfathering) to 7.x or above microcode. In these cases, customers were required to go to the Oracle eDelivery website and download capacity keys. SolutionCustomers were required to go to the Oracle eDelivery website and download capacity keys. It might be helpful to have the capacity keys downloaded prior to an upgrade in case there is a problem. Remember that YOU WILL NEED capacity keys if any eDelivery key, such as Partitioning, is installed. Installing any key takes the SL8500 out of "grandfathered" mode and locks down all eDelivery installed features. If any of the following keys are installed, the library will enter "Oracle Lockdown" state:
