SERVICE LED from Server is ON, when no Hardware Faults are present according to SC and/or Oracle Explorer file.

SolutionFirst, check that there are no HW faults in the Server. That can be done by checking the SC outputs or collecting an Oracle Explorer for analysis. Run SC command resetsc
Note: If that does not turn off the Service LED, please proceed with the next steps.
This solution is not tested in a lab, and is only tested on the SR listed for this documents creation. We will keep this as an internal document until tested and referenced in more Service Requests. Update 10/2/2015 - No additional SRs list this doc as solving SR. Many hits. Keeping this section Internal for now.
The Service LED should now be off. If it is not, please contact Oracle Support for further assistance on this issue. It's recommended to check the OBP and ALOM firmware version to be at the most updated version. Attachments This solution has no attachment |
