Symptoms

During HOST power on/off (ILOM cli, start /SYS or stop /SYS), D210 DC/DC Converter on some cpu modules have a false 00VP trip, which is reported as a (DVRM_15/00V_+1V5) asserted failure that is captured by firmware. The SP then power cycles the host.

Cause

The DVRM_15: status 0x4 power system fault occurs when the D210 OE is disabled, causing the D210 on cpu modules to have a false OOVP (over voltage status bit) to be set for a short time that is captured by system firmware. The firmware then power cycles the host and turns the system back on again

Solution

Issue is fixed with firmware release 7.4.4.f (patch number 147311-05). Recommend firmware upgrade ASAP.
