Symptoms

 After a disk replacement the old disk still shows up as 'Not Present'

Changes

Disk has been replaced.

Cause

 A possible cause is:

Unpublished Bug:13019838 REPLACED FAILED PHYSICAL DISK STILL SHOW STALE STATUS AS "NOT PRESENT"

Solution

 Restart the MS server:

cellcli

>alter cell restart services MS
