Symptoms

  • Removing power from entire rack
  • After restoring power to the rack, some systems remained power down
  • Affects all image versions including 11.2.3.1.1

Solution

 Workaround

 

  • Restart power of the servers throug the ILOM
    • ipmitool -H <ILOM address> -U root -P <password> chassis power on
    • Using the Web ILOM interface from Remote Control tab -. Remote Power Control and from the list of values, choose Select On
