Oracle Enterprise Manager GUI shows Critical Alert "workflow parameters are invalid" for one of the S7000 clients.

Changes

 The appliance software may have been upgraded, or an analytics dataset required by the workflows may have been suspended or removed.

Cause

The problem is described on p. 18 of the Sun ZFS Storage Appliance Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g & 11g Grid Controller Plug-in Usage Guide:

The causes given for the problem "workflow parameters are invalid" are those described in the above document.
 
Causes:
• A dataset on the Sun ZFS Storage Appliance is not enabled
• An internal error occurred and the agent is calling an incompatible workflow
 

Solution

1. Log in to BUI and enter "Maintenance -> Workflows" screen

2. Run the "Unconfigure Oracle Enterprise Manager Monitoring" workflow first. Check the box to "Remove Oracle Enterprise Manager Worksheet", leave the "Remove Oracle Agent User and Role" box unchecked.

3. Run the "Configure for Oracle Enterprise Manager Monitoring" workflow, you will be asked to enter the password for the User Oracle_agent, also check the box to "Recreate the Worksheet", leave the box for "Recreate user" unchecked.

After these actions have been carried out, check to see if your problem is fixed and the error disappears from the Enterprise Manager GUI.
