Later build  T10000A and all T10000B drives have the potential to fail to come up after they are power cycled with one of the following symptoms:

1) Boot Monitor

2) 6046 SNO

3) The drive does not IPL. (possibly with a solid red status LED)

FSC6046

Error 6046

Will not initialize

013E SNO error and the drive will not come back from a power cycle.

The drive will fail no matter what library slot location it is installed in.

Changes

The T10KA/B drive was power cycled.

Cause

A chip has probably failed within the drive preventing it from running the bring up tests so that it will complete an IPL.

Solution

The drive must be replaced and sent back through the normal returns process.
