Symptoms

Both Fans in SL500 Base Module are failing. Fans were replaced but problem remains.

Event Logs show below entries :

Cause

RLM back plane has connectors J112 & J113 for 2 Base Module Fans. Blown Fuse on RLM can stop Fans from functioning.
 

Solution

If Fans are replaced already, replacing Blank RLM card is suggested.

Ensure to follow the RLM replacement procedure provided in the referred document below.
