Solution
1. Gather the following logs from the CLI or SL console:
- frameinfo print
- version print
- license print
- lib getconfig
- libstate
- print log all
2. Power off the library using ON/OFF switch.
3. Remove the RLC, MPU2 cards, all the drives and power on the library, once it comes ready, wait for 5
minutes and shutdown the library.
4. Insert the RLC card then power on the library, after it is initialized wait for 5 minutes and the shutdown
the library.
5. Insert MPU2 card, power on the library, after it is initialized wait for 5 minutes and then gather the logs
(as listed in Step 1) and shutdown the library. (Name the folder/zip as 'After MPU2 installed' for easy
understanding)
6. Insert all the drives back then power on the library and let it initialize. Gather the 6 logs once again.
(Name the folder/zip as 'After Drives installed')
If the issue still persists:
Note the library configurations, such as IP address, default gateway, Licenses installed, library config etc and perform the followings,
7. Upgrade the library firmware to 1395 or higher.
8. Login to CLI as "oem" and run “revertToFactorySettings”.
Once completed reboot the library.
Check whether correct/new wwn are generated for MPU2 and Drives.
Capture logs as before & send confirm whether the WWNs are changed.
Reconfigure any settings that are needed after the reverting to factory default settings.
