Symptoms

Failed/faulted disk was replaced

After replacement of the faulted disk, the disk resilver operation did not start.

The spare drives will stay "in use".

Multiple replacements over the last 2 months did not trigger a resilver back to the newly-inserted disk.

Cause

Known issue.
