VTSS might have fenced off a cache card (AVM or ANV)
Cause
Bad component on the cache card
#define FSCF40A_CC_PRI_UNCORRECTABLE_EDAC_ERROR 0xF40A
CSE: @SAME
ENG: SDRAM controller associated with the primary cache
access detected an uncorrectable EDAC error on a read.
Possible failing FRUs: AVM, ANV
Solution
These are the steps needed to verify the correct card was identified.
1. Acquire a set of base files from the VTSS.
2. Place files on SPLAT.
3. Review hic.dmp to verify the VTSS did fence a cache card:
EX: Found PSA Action has taken place
--------------------------------
10/12/16 09:30:31 PSA 0xf40a INIT FENCE 0100 36 - CU.2.AVM1
4. Note card type, date and time of error
5. Run xfsc f40a which will make a f40a.out file
6. Review f40a.out file and verify the cache card the machine fenced is correct.
7. review crnt_fru.lst file and note part number of failed cache card.
8. Create field task for local to replace fenced cache card.
