Open Volser CLI Barcode Cartridge label hwActivation Hardware activation Just bought a new SL3000 and populated it with LTO-7 drives and tapes. The tape library itself, via the library console, seems to recognize the tape labels, which were shipped with 10 characters (8 digits and "L7"), but sends a sense error to CommVault. The tape library technician indicated that the tape library was set to read all the characters on the barcode, and the CommVault technician stated that CommVault can use all 10 characters but that the library is not recognizing the tapes, from the perspective of CommVault. Please help us resolve this issue. SymptomsDual Robot Feature is Not Available on E-Delivery Website. CauseThis is now supported via the CLI port. SolutionSome features in FRS-3.0 code for the SL3000 are controlled by hardware activation files that are available on the E-Delivery site http://edelivery.oracle.com/ . However, other features are now controlled by CLI commands. Below are the various features and how they are controlled: a). Capacity in increments of 25, 100, 200 500, 700 1000 Slots Licensed Features Controlled by CLI HwActivation Commands: a). Dual Robot - SL3000> hwActivation dualRobot <enable | disable> Note: (16-Mar, 2017) Open Volser will enable up to 12 characters in the data presented to the host. Additional barcode presentation format information is required to be entered in the "Configuration" screen of the SLConsole. However, the all option will only send 9, 10, 11, or 12 characters without the media type.
